EINSTAR-Prosumer Portable 3D Scanner
/
This 3d scanner is available for pickup only at my residence in the Town of Stouffville, Ont. This scanner shows as out of stock but we have one used available. Contact me if interested in purchasing this scanner.
This scanner was hardly used and is in excellent condition. New purchase price was around $1,200.
The EINSTAR Prosumer Portable 3D Scanner is a solid entry-level/prosumer scanner, especially for medium to larger objects, people, props, and general 3D-printing reference scans.
Key specs: structured-light scan, 0.1–3 mm point distance, 160–1400 mm working distance, best around 400 mm, up to 14 FPS, and exports common formats like STL, OBJ, PLY, 3MF.
For your use:
Good choice if you want affordable scanning for larger replica parts, figures, equipment pieces, and objects with decent surface detail.
Not ideal for very tiny parts, sharp mechanical details, or high-accuracy reverse engineering. For that, your EinScan Rigil is likely the stronger tool.
I would see the EINSTAR as a budget-friendly scanner, not an upgrade from the Rigil.
The Einstar 3D scanner requires a high-performance Windows PC to operate effectively, with recommended specs including an Intel Core i7-11800H or higher, NVIDIA GTX 1060 (with 6GB VRAM), and at least 32GB of RAM
